Miranda Lambert celebrates platinum album with latest CD

The CD, which marks Lambert’s sixth career full-length studio album, is comprised of a total of 24 tracks. It was released on November 18 via Vanner Records/RCA Records Nashville, where it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart with over 122,000 units sold in its first week; moreover, it peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 all-genre charts.

Fast forward to 33 weeks after its release, and The Weight of These Wings has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Frank Liddell, Glenn Worf, and Eric Masse served as its co-producers.

Lambert’s album garnered critical acclaimed from a wide range of media and music critics, and it was named “Album of the Year” by the Academy of Country Music in April.

Her lead single “Vice” went on to earn Grammy and Academy of Country Music (ACM) award nominations. Its latest single, “Tin Man” is on the radio airwaves.
