Mike Manning has a major reason to be proud. He just won a 2021 Daytime Emmy Award for his acting work in “The Bay.”
Manning won for his portrayal of Caleb McKinnon in the hit digital drama series “The Bay” on Popstar! TV. This marks his first win for acting, last year, he won an Emmy for his work as a producer on the show.
He won for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Daytime Fiction Program.” Manning was nominated alongside his co-star Eric Nelsen, Tristan Rogers (“Studio City”), Neil Crone (“Endlings”), and Cheyenne Jackson (“Julie and the Phantoms”).
In a post on Instagram, Manning expressed, “I didn’t expect this. I’m still in shock. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in getting me here! The producers, the fans, ‘The Bay’ series team, my family, I love you all. Thank you x1000.”
He went on to dedicate his Emmy Award to his grandmother.
Congratulations to Mike Manning once again. His performance this season was hailed as “Emmy-worthy” by Digital Journal.
