Mike DelGuidice talks Florida, Nassau Coliseum Billy Joel show (Includes interview)

On returning to The Paramount in Huntington, for their fourth consecutive sold-out concert, DelGuidice said, “It’s always great to be at The Paramount. I’m excited. I miss it here. I am looking forward to it.”

DelGuidice just returned home from playing shows with Big Shot, the critically-acclaimed Billy Joel tribute band, in Florida. “It was nice to play to new people and new fans. Florida was great. We did a lot of shows there, approximately five shows in seven days,” he said.

Ironically enough, that was the ideal place for the band to sing “Miami 2017 (Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway,” due to the year (2017) and approximate location (various cities in Florida).

For April Fool’s Day (April 1), DelGuidice will be back at his residency at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh. “It’s a double shot of Big Shot,” he said.

On April 5, DelGuidice is excited to be performing at the new Nassau Coliseum with the “Piano Man” himself Billy Joel as the first concert for the newly-renovated venue. “I’m very excited,” he admitted.

Nassau Coliseum holds a special place in DelGuidice’s heart since he had served as an opening act for Billy Joel back on August 4, 2015, which was the final pre-renovation concert.
