Merle Haggard to perform at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury

Haggard was named “Entertainer of the Year” by both the Country Music Association (CMA) and the Academy of Country Music (ACM) in 1970. His classic hit “That’s The Way Love Goes” earned him the 1984 Grammy award for “Best Male Country Vocal Performance.”

Aside from being inducted into the coveted Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in 1994, Haggard is a multi-Grammy award winner, as well as a Kenndy Center Honoree since 2010.

In early June of 2015, the country music living legend will be playing two shows in New Jersey, at Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank on June 2, as well as at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood on June 3.
