Jasmine Amy Rogers, lead performer of “Boop! The Musical,” chatted about her latest award nominations, and starring in the hit Broadway show.
Walt Disney once said: “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” This quote applies to Jasmine Amy Rogers, who plays the title character in “Boop! The Musical.”
For her portrayal of Betty Boop in “Boop! The Musical,” she is up for a Chita Rivera Award for “Outstanding Dancer in a Broadway Show.”

On her 2025 Chita River Award nomination, Rogers exclaimed, “It feels amazing! It is such an honor and a huge surprise. The dancing in this show has made me so anxious at times because I never felt that I was in a place to do it justice but I feel like I’ve grown into that, and it gets better every day.”
“This role and show is the most exciting thing I’ve ever done,” Rogers admitted. “So, it is just a huge honor.

In addition, Rogers has also been nominated for a Drama League Award for “Distinguished Performance,” a Drama Desk Award for “Outstanding Lead Performance in a Musical,” an Outer Critics Circle Award for “Outstanding Lead Performer in a Broadway Musical,” and most importantly, for a Tony Award for “Best Actress in a Musical.”
“The Tony nomination felt amazing,” she said. “When they announced it, I was with my friend at home, and I cried. It was a beautiful moment.”
Working with Erich Bergen
Rogers had great words about working with her “Boop!” co-star Erich Bergen. “I love Eric; he is the best,” she enthused. “Eric is truly a class act and an incredible actor; he is a beautiful singer and an amazing guy as well.”

On the title of the current chapter of her life, she said with a sweet laugh, “Anything is possible.”
Success
Regarding her definition of the word success, Rogers shared, “Success means doing the things you’ve always dreamed of with the people you love.”
