Meet Diego Miranda: Portuguese DJ and electronic producer

Miranda is one of the most influential DJs and producers in Portugal, who is credited for bringing electronic music closer to the mainstream genre. In last year’s Top 100 DJs poll, Miranda ranked No. 70, and he moves up 12 spots.

Miranda is the sole Portuguese DJ who was nominated for “Best Portuguese Act” by MTV’s EMA, thus confirming his international status among all Portuguese DJs. In 2006, he earned the Dance Club Awards and PortgulalNight Awards in the “DJ Revelation” category. Two of his albums have been certified gold, namely Ola Love 2 Dance and PortugalNight. Miranda is a favorite performer at Ushuaia Beach Hotel Ibiza. His music encompasses elements of house, progressive and techno.
