Three-time Emmy award-winning actor Maurice Benard of “General Hospital” announced his short film “Passions.” Digital Journal has the scoop.

The synopsis is as follows: a confession goes awry as a troubled woman enters a young priest’s private chambers wielding a gun. As she catapults between anger and anguish, her devastating revelation forces the priest to face his own regrets.

This short was originally filmed in 2000 on 35 mm format and it has now been remastered in HD.

“Passions” was directed and produced by Erin Upson Cuevas. It was written and produced by Susan Black, the co-author of Benard’s book “Nothing General About It,” and it co-stars Stephanie Geyer as “Roxanne”; moreover, it features original music by his Joshua “JJ” Benard.
