Martina McBride to release new holiday album, cookbook

Her nine-track Christmas album will be released on October 19 via BMG. She will also be embarking on her “Joy of Christmas Tour,” which has become a regular tradition for the country queen. This time, she will be performing songs from her new album, and she will be joined by the local symphonies on each tour stop.

For her upcoming Christmas album, she worked with the late Oscar-nominated composer and conductor Patrick Williams. This marks 20 years since she released her previous holiday album, the multi-platinum White Christmas.

In addition, McBride will be releasing her second cookbook, Martina’s Kitchen Mix: My Recipe Playlist For Real Life, which will be available on October 30.

Her “Joy of Christmas Tour” will kick off on November 23 at the Beau Rivage Theatre in Biloxi, Mississippi, and it will wrap up on December 8 at the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land, Texas. From November 29 to December 1, she will be playing three shows at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville with the Symphony Orchestra.
