Marshall Tucker Band celebrates 45 years with Long Hard Ride tour

The Marshall Tucker Band, fronted by lead singer Doug Gray, is back on the trail with fresh horses, as they saddle up for their “Long Hard Ride” tour, in honor of their 45th year on the road. Their tour kicked off on February 18 at The Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia. It will include stops in New York in such venues as the Magic City Music Hall in Binghamton on March 18, as well as The Paramount in Huntington on Long Island on March 19. There will be additional tour stops announced in the near future.

The title of their latest tour, “Long Hard Ride,” derived from the band’s studio album in 1976 of the same name.

Their 2015 Christmas show at B.B. King Blues Club in New York City earned a rave review from Digital Journal.
