Mark Tremonti releases lyric video for new song ‘Dust’

“Dust” is available for pre-order on iTunes by clicking here.

The lyric video for his song “Dust” premiered on Sirius XM’s Octane channel and it contains imagery from Cauterize and Dust albums as the backdrop for the poignant lyrics.

Dust is about how it feels to watch a close friend close confidence in you,” Mark Tremonti said in a press release. It was recorded during the same sessions as the group’s previous release, and it features Tremonti on lead vocals and guitars, as well as Eric Friedman on guitars, Wolfgang van Halen on bass and Garrett Whitlock on drums.

Long-time friend and collaborator, Michael “Elvis” Baskette, produced this new project. The rock star will be heading to Europe this spring to promote this new album. They will be making stops at some of the biggest festivals such as Hellfast, Graspop Metal Meeting and Download Festival. In addition, they will serve as opening acts for living metal legends Iron Maiden.

Tremonti is known for his musical work with such acclaimed bands as Creed and Alter Bridge. He was recognized by Guitar World as “Guitarist of the Year” for three years in a row.
