This studio effort is the companion album to last year’s Cauterize album. It is a ten-track collection that features all new material and it showcases Tremonti’s hard rock and heavy metal influences.
The trackl-listing for Dust includes the opener “My Last Mistake,” “The Cage,” “Once Dead,” the title track “Dust,” “Betray Me,” “Tore My Heart Out,” “Catching Fire,” “Never Wrong,” “Rising Storm” and the closing track “Unable to See.”
Throughout his career in the music industry, Mark Tremonti is known for his guitar work with such bands as the Grammy-winning rock group Creed, as well as Alter Bridge, the latter of which features lead vocals from Myles Kennedy. He has sold over 40 million albums worldwide, and he is the musician behind such hit songs as “My Own Prison, “Higher,” “Addicted to Pain” and “Isolation.”
Tremonti was honored by Guitar World as “Guitarist of the year” for three consecutive years, and he was subsequently ranked as the “fourth greatest heavy metal guitarist ever” in Total Guitar. He is the winner of the 2001 Grammy award for “Best Rock Song” for co-writing “With Arms Wide Open” with Scott Stapp from Creed.
