Magician Johnny Thompson receives award from the Magic Circle

Thompson received this prestigious honor by fellow esteemed magician Lance Burton. “Presenting the David Devant Award to my good friend and mentor Johnny Thompson on behalf of the Magic Circle. Congratulations Tomsoni,” Burton posted on his official Facebook page.

Best known as “The Great Tomsoni,” Thompson was a part of Lance Burton’s latest project, Billy Topit Master Magician, where he plays one of the lead roles in the movie.

In 1999, Thompson was awarded the coveted Masters Fellowship from the Academy of Magical Arts, and throughout his career, he has worked with the biggest names in the world of magic.
