Magician Jamie Raven performs for young cancer patients in London

Most recently, last week, he visited the University College Hospital in London, for a special performance for children and young people with cancer. This event was organized by the young people’s cancer support charity, CLIC Sargent, which works on providing extra emotional and financial assistance to patients and their families.

For Raven, being able to entertain for kids and young people that are supported by CLIC Sargent, was more inspirational than him performing for critical judge Simon Cowell on the reality competition, Britain’s Got Talent.

Raved shared that he is proud to be a supporter of this “amazing charity.” The acclaimed magician noted how touched he was by the stories of the young children and people that he met with cancer, and he went on the praise CLIC Sargent and their staff, ranging from nurses to social workers and other personnel, for all that they do to help these children and their families cope as they undergo cancer treatments.

As Digital Journal previously reported, Raven is also a supporter of Niamh’s Next Step charity.
