Madonna to premiere ‘Rebel Heart’ Tour on Showtime

Madonna’s “Rebel Heart” tour special will feature a collection of live and behind the scenes footage of her performances at the Sydney Olympic Park from this past year. This film was co-directed by Danny B. Tull and Nathan Rissman. Madonna’s “Rebel Heart” headlining tour was produced by Live Nation Global Touring

The “Material Girl” will be honored later this year as Billboard Magazine’s 2016 “Woman of the Year” in a star-studded GALA event.

For this Rebel Heart tour special on Showtime, her set-list spans decades of material which include her latest hits “Living for Love” and “Bitch I’m Madonna.” Other classic hits will include “Dress You Up,” “Holiday,” “Like a Prayer,” “Lucky Star” and her signature song “Material Girl.”

Madonna is the fourth top-grossing touring act of all time, right behind The Rolling Stones, U2 and the “Boss” himself, Bruce Springsteen. She is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Madonna has announced a special evening of music, as well as a live performance on December 2, where she will raise funds for “Raising Malawi,” a non-profit organization that she founded in 2006. This charity is constructing Malawi’s first pediatric surgery and intensive care unit (ICU), and it will be called the Mercy James Institute of Pediatric Surgery and Intensive Care. It is slated to open in 2017.
