Madonna to kick off ‘Rebel Heart’ world tour in Montreal, Canada

This tour will be in support of her latest studio effort, Rebel Heart, which was well-received by Digital Journal. The iconic entertainer revealed some of the fashion designers with whom she is working on for her costumes on her latest touring production. These designers include Alessandro Michele for Gucci, Alexander Wang, Fausto Puglisi, Jeremy Scott for Moschino, Nicolas Jebran, Miu Miu, Prada and Swarovski.

In addition, costume designer Arianne Phillips will be overseeing Madonna’s wardrobe for the “Rebel Heart” world tour, and will also contribute designs, thus marking her sixth tour with the “Material Girl.”

Following two shows in Montreal, Canada, at the same venue, Madonna will visit cities throughout North America, which will include two stops in New York City’s Madison Square Garden on September 16 and 17, as well as at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on September 19.

Diplo will serve as her opening act for her “Rebel Heart” dates in Montreal, while Amy Schumer will open for Madonna on her two dates at New York’s Madison Square Garden and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
