The Brit Awards concluded with a performance by Madonna, who made her way down to the stage with dancers holding her long black cloak. However, she stopped on the stairs leading to the stage, and she attempted to remove her cloak with the dancers surrounding her. Instead of the cloak coming off, she ended up falling backwards and landed on the ground.
She quickly recovered from the fall, but she looked shocked and then she continued on with the performance, and completed it without falling again.
The song Madonna sung at the Brit Awards was her newest single, titled Living For Love.
This is not the first time a singer has fallen off stage during a live performance at an awards show. A few years ago, back in 2009, Jennifer Lopez performed at the American Music Awards, and in the middle of her performance she went to get off the back of one of her dancers, but she ended up slipping as she landed.
Just as Madonna did at the Brit Awards, Lopez quickly recovered and finished her performance.
