Actress Madison Elise Rogers chatted about starring in the hit series “1923” on Paramount+, which stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. Rogers plays the role of Lindy.
‘1923’ series on Paramount+
On being a part of “1923,” she remarked, “It was truly a dream come true. Working alongside a cast like this was unbelievably surreal. I will be forever grateful for this experience.”
Working opposite Timothy Dalton
On working opposite Timothy Dalton, she revealed, “Working with Timothy Dalton was incredible for me as an actor.”
“I learned so much from watching him work. He is someone that I’ve always respected and looked up to. I feel so privileged to have worked alongside him,” she expressed.
The digital age
On being a part of the digital age, Rogers said, “I’ve actually never experienced anything else besides the digital age! I believe it allows more freedoms, has expanded opportunity for creators and gifts us with more variety in content.”
“So, I appreciate it. But at the center of it, auditioning, and telling stories has remained the same for me. It’s just the medium that’s evolved,” she explained.
Advice for young and emerging actors
For young and aspiring actors, she said, “I would say to ‘never give up on yourself.’ If you want it, always fight for it.”
Future plans
On her future plans, she said, “I am currently working on a new project called ‘What I Didn’t Say.’ We are still in the early phases on the project, but I am very passionate and excited about it!”
Lessons learned from the ‘1923’ screenplay
On the lessons learned from “1923,” she reflected, “Being a part of 1923 gave me a newfound sense of confidence. It pushed me out of my comfort zone.”
“Overcoming those challenges and realizing not only that I could do it, but that I could truly enjoy the process, was an incredible feeling,” she noted.
Success
Regarding his definition of the word success, she stated, “Success, to me, is about impact. It’s about telling stories that resonate with people, that make them feel something real. If a performance helps them see themselves or the world differently, that’s success.”
