They will celebrate the “Lynn Anderson: Keep Me in Mind” exhibit at 2 p.m. with a public program that will feature Anderson’s father, songwriter Casey Anderson, as well as her longtime producer and guitarist, Steve Gibson. Other special guests will include internationally recognized fashion designer Manuel, multi-instrumentalist Buddy Skipper, as well as her daughter, Lisa Sutton. This program will be streamed live on the official Country Music Hall of Fame website.
The “Rose Garden” songstress helped define country music in the late 60’s and early 70’s. The Lynn Anderson: Keep Me in Mind exhibit will run through June 24, 2018.
Aside from “Rose Garden,” her other No. 1 country singles include “You’re My Man,” “How Can I Unlove You,” “Keep Me in Mind” and “What a Man My Man Is.”
Grammy winner Lynn Anderson passed away on July 30, 2015, at the age of 67. Her Rose Garden album had topped the Billboard country charts 46 years ago.
