Lynn Anderson honored with her own ‘Lynn Anderson Day’

During that day, the state of Tennessee is going to be honoring the country music legend with her very own “Lynn Anderson Day.” That is the day when her family will be monitoring her Facebook page to hear the fans’ experiences and stories about Anderson; moreover, they will be sharing their memories and they will be answering questions.

At this year’s Grammy award ceremony, Anderson was included in the “Memoriam” segment, and rightfully so.

This past December, Anderson’s signature song “Rose Garden” turned 45 years old. In 1971, the song earned Anderson a Grammy award for “Best Country Vocal Performance, Female.”
