‘Lula’ has been selected for UK’s National Student Film Festival

Weil made this announcement on his official Facebook page. This festival will run in London from March 10 to 11, 2017.

Most recently, Lula was nominated at the London Short Film Festival, as Digital Journal previously reported.

Lula is a World War II film that was written and directed by director Aoife O’Kelly. The film is set in 1944 in Poland, where the main character, Regina Jakubowska, who is known as “Lula,” portrayed by Marta Kane, is faced with the challenging decision to protect her husband or their unborn child. Jo Weil portrays Major Heinz Vollbracht in the film.
