LoveLoud Festival to aid Tegan and Sara Foundation, and charities

Canadian indie pop duo Tegan and Sara is comprised of identical twins Tegan Rain Quin and Sara Keirsten Quin. Both sisters are songwriters and they play multiple musical instruments. The indie pop duo released a statement regarding the LoveLoud Festival, as well as the Tegan and Sara Foundation. Tegan and Sara noted that they know that this “amazing program of music and speakers” will be able to educate, entertain and inspire everybody that comes out to support it on July 28, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Tegan and Sara stated that they started the Tegan and Sara Foundation in an effort to bring resources and attention to issues that affect the LGBTQ community; moreover, they are proud to work with the LoveLoud team to amplify and spread the urgent message of acceptance and unconditional love.

The goal for this year’s show will be to raise one million dollars for the three nonprofit organizations, in an effort to help the LGBTQ communities, especially the youth.

This year’s performers will include such acts as Imagine Dragons, Zedd, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, Grace Vandeerwaal, Tyler Glenn from Neon Trees, among others.
