Lisa Lampanelli starring in Off-Broadway play ‘Stuffed’

Lampanelli can add the word “playwright” to her impressive resume of accomplishments. It has been extended through November 13, and the play was directed by Jackson Gay. It has garnered favorable reviews from fans and critics, which include Time Out New York, The Hollywood Reporter, as well as The New York Times.

Aside from Lampanelli, the production stars stars Ann Harada, Zainab Jah and Jessica Luck.

The play deals with a bulimic, a compulsive eater, a confident overweight woman, as well as a chronically thin character. It attempts to ponder the question as to whether food and body image issues could ever be conquered.
