Lips in New York City to host ‘Christmas Spectacular’

Lips is New York’s “Ultimate Drag Show Palace” and restaurant, and its “Christmas Spectacular” will star Drag Queen Blackie O’Clause and the Dragettes. This live drag show is going to take place every Tuesday night during the month of December of 2016.

“The holidays are always our favorite time of year at Lips,” said Yvonne Lame’, the co- founder of New York City’s only true LaCage Drag Show, in a press statement. She went on to describe the future of Lips as “exciting” and “unstoppable.” In addition, a new Lips restaurant is scheduled to open in Chicago in early spring of 2017.

This festive event will kick off on Tuesday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m., and it will run every Tuesday in the month of December. It will feature entertainer Blackie O’Clause and her fabulous background singers, the Dragettes, where they will be singing unique arrangements of such holiday classics as “Jingle Bells,” “Joy to the World” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

Lips has grown from a small restaurant in New York’s West Village to a beloved nationwide chain. Aside from New York, It consists of four additional locations in Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, San Diego and Chicago. Lips is the ideal venue for such special occasions as birthday parties, bachelorette parties, divorces, graduations, job promotions and holidays, among others.
