Larger Than Life’s Edvin Ortega talks Las Vegas and Eastchester (Includes interview)

On performing at Mulcahy’s for April Fool’s Day Weekend, he said, “It always feels great. Every time we are here, it always feels awesome. It’s the best place to be.”

On April 15, Ortega and his band will be playing a hometown show at Mickey Spillane’s Pub in Eastchester, New York. “That’s my home. We are excited about that because it is very close to my house. All of the friends are going to come out and support it. It’s the second time that there is a 90’s event in Westchester. It’s going to be good,” he said.

Their plans for the future are to continue expanding, and one of those places will include Las Vegas. “We know that there are other people out there who are not the original boy band tribute, so we want to expand as much as we can and show them who we are,” he said.

Last week Larger Than Life sold-out a show at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino in Pennsylvania. “It was great. An awesome show with Stevie B. The crowd was great and they were very energetic. They were all into it,” he said.

Aside from founding member Edvin Ortega, Larger Than Life is comprised of Devin Peacock, Toly Rod, Chris Jehnert and Price Adam Troche Jr. Their dedicated fan-base, affectionately known as “Larger Than Life Army” was present last night at Mulcahy’s.
