Kelsea Ballerini: Queen of country charts with ‘Dibs’ single

This milestone was for her latest radio single “Dibs.” Her previous single and breakthrough hit “Love Me Like You Mean It” also peaked at No. 1 on the country charts.

A Tennessee native, Ballerini made the announcement on her Twitter page. She noted that she woke up crying after reading e-mails and text messages that “Dibs” is No. 1 and the fact that she and her fans “did it again.”

“I am so proud and honored to work with people that fight daily to have my voice heard on the radio,” Ballerini posted. “And have radio fight daily to give me a voice. It is such a dream,” she added.
