The actor will celebrate his birthday this Saturday (October 6) in the “Garden State.” “.Jersey has always been home to me. There’s really no place like it. I couldn’t be happier to celebrate in a town that is really turning around,” he said.
Collins continued, “This year I’m taking the party to Atlantic City, New Jersey, and looking forward to hosting it at Scores Nightclub at the new Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. It is really going to be a blast.”
On his future plans, Collins said, “I have been focusing so much on my latest film The Samaritans. We have so many offers and just have been trying to find the right deal structure for the project. The good news is it seems like we have narrowed it down and will be signing the film for worldwide distribution very soon so check out the creepy trailer, and keep an eye out for it,” he said.
On the impact of technology on the entertainment industry, Collins said, “It is very interesting to see it all evolve and how it has completely changed so many ways films are distributed these days. We live in a digital world and VOD has just proved that it is the best way your work can be seen by the largest audiences.”
Collins listed Academy Award winner Daniel Day-Lewis as his dream acting partner. “There really is no one as intense and precise as Daniel. By far one of the greatest to grace the screen,” he said.
When asked what inspires him each day, Collins said, “I am inspired by seeing filmmakers new and old creating their own content, producing and executing films. I like watching a production come together from start to finish. Watching a talented crew create the elements to put together good film and TV is such an honor, especially to sit back and watch it unfold.”
For his fans and supporters, Collins concluded, “Thanks for all the support over the years. I feel really blessed to have been able to work in a business that is so challenging yet so rewarding.”
