Electronic producer and DJ KAAZE chatted about his breakthrough North American and Canadian Tour “RESONANCE.”

What inspires your music and songwriting?

I find myself getting inspired a lot by my environment and whatever is going on in my life during that period. So being on the road touring definitely sparks my creativity.

Can you tell us about your debut North American and Canadian Tour, RESONANCE, starting this month? (What can we expect? How are you feeling?)

For me, it’s almost like coming home again. My career started in the states but I’ve never done a tour up until now so it’s extremely exciting to finally make it happen!

In your opinion, what are the challenges and rewards of being a music artist in the digital age? (Now with streaming, technology, and social media being so prevalent)

The hardest part today is to stay consistent in terms of content. I’ve done a pretty good job on it but it’s very exhausting.

People move on too quick nowadays which forces us to work even faster and more intensely.

On a positive note, it’s so awesome to see how much you can grow as an independent artist with all these tools. The music industry has never been bigger.

The scene is always full of hot topics. From the debate of phones on the dancefloor, labels driving TikTok viral hits, to the next big trending sounds; it is always evolving. Where do you see electronic music is headed in the next five years?

Nowadays, I really try to not think too far ahead. I used to be a person who was always trying to figure out the future and strategy, but right now, I just want to enjoy the moment. Do what makes me happy and be grateful for what we have.

Right now, the scene is absolutely amazing with so many genres and people enjoying everything from Afro house to hard techno. It’s amazing!

What is your advice for young and aspiring music producers specifically in the electronic dance scene?

The only thing you should focus on in the beginning is to have fun and enjoy whatever you make. Don’t think too much, just do.

Every time I remove business from my mind and just go with the flow is when things are happening.

What does the word success mean to you? (My favorite question!)

Easy, Family!

What are your future plans for the KAAZE name?

I’m letting the universe guide the future of KAAZE at the moment As I said, I’m just being me right now and I’m enjoying every second of it.

No deadlines, no goals, no dreams. I’m just right here and it’s pretty peaceful place to be.

It’s your debut tour here, but have you been to the United States and Canada before? Are there any particular places you’re excited to drop by whilst you’re over?

The main things I have planned outside the tour is Golf in Florida with my friends, and then I’m taking my family to New York for a few days.

I can’t wait to take my daughter to Central Park, for example. Maybe I’ll even have some New York, pizza even though I’m on a strict diet at the moment!

What final message would you like to share with your North American and Canadian fans ahead of the tour?

Family, I’m finally coming! I can’t wait to see you all. Get ready for HOT TEKNŌ, love you guys!
