Judah & the Lion scores first No. 1 hit on alternative radio

It is a track on their latest studio album, Folk Hop ‘N Roll, which they released independently. In addition, their song “Take It All Back” has charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs charts, where it moves up three spots from the previous week.

Judah & the Lion chatted with Digital Journal about their album back in April, prior to their concert at Gramercy Theatre in New York City.

The band is made up of Judah Akers on guitar and lead vocals, Brian Macdonald on mandolin and backing vocals, Nate Zuercher on banjo and background vocals, as well as Spencer Cross on drums.
