Actor and singer Juan Pablo Di Pace (“Fuller House”) chatted about his upcoming shows on October 4th and 5th at 54 Below’s Supper Club in New York City.

At 54 Below, Di Pace revealed that the audience will be treated to the music of Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim, Kander and Ebb, and the Bee Gees, along with his own original solo music. Michael Orland serves as his musical director. “This venue is the first place I ever performed to a New York audience,” he said.

“I am very excited about 54 Below,” he said. “It has been a whirlwind. I am always excited when I come to New York and when I get to perform in front of a New York audience; there is nothing like a New York audience.”

“That iconic room is really magic, and the sound system is incredible and intimate enough. It is just so luscious. This is my third time doing a one-man show in New York,” he acknowledged.

“This show will be very eclectic. I always like to mix it up a bit,” he foreshadowed. “There will be some standards from musical theatre, as well as the Bee Gees, Elton John and Michael Jackson,” he hinted.

“It tends to be really eclectic because I go through different moods, different stories, and different events,” he exclaimed.

“This show, in particular, will be a celebration of my musical roots,” he admitted.

“Even though most people know me from film and TV, my roots and beginning were in dance and musicals, so I want to revisit that time, and to celebrate the fact that I am in that room, which represents the ‘70s where some of the greatest art was created in that era. The art was so alive in the ‘70s,” he elaborated.

“The show will consist of some of my favorite songs from the ‘70s era, as well as some originals,” he added.

Following these two concerts, Di Pace will be a part of the New York City premiere of his movie “Duino” at the NewFest Film Festival, as part of his directorial debut.
