Joe Nichols scores Top 30 country hit with ‘Hard To Be Cool’

It has charted for 23 weeks in the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, and it moves up two weeks from its previous position. It is the second track on his latest studio album, Crickets, which was released on Red Bow Records.

“Hard To Be Cool” is the follow-up to Nichols’ previous single, the upbeat “Yeah,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard country charts. It was co-produced by Mickey Jack Cones and Derek George, and co-written by Rob Hatch and Jason Sellers. Nichols’ new single garnered an “A” rating from Digital Journal.

Nichols will be a part of the Farmborough Festival in New York on June 26, along with Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley.
