Joan Jett to embark on co-headlining summer tour with Styx

Jett and Styx will be joined by the heavy metal band Tesla. Their U.S. tour kicks off on May 20 at the FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, California.

In 2015, Joan Jett was inducted into the coveted Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with The Blackhearts (original members Gary Ryan, Ricky Byrd and the late Lee Crystal). She is a pioneer women who was one of the first to play hard rock.

Throughout her decorated career in the rock music industry, she has had eight platinum and gold albums, with nine singles that landed in the Top 40. These include her classics “Bad Reputation,” “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll,” “I Hate Myself For Loving You,” and “Crimson and Clover.”

On June 29, they will be performing at the Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh on Long Island. Last year, Joan Jett performed at Jones Beach, where her show garnered a glowing review from Digital Journal.
