Jillian Steele to play The Paramount, to open for Hunter Hayes

Ironically enough, Steele covered Hunter Hayes’ latest radio single “Yesterday Song” on her YouTube channel.

Steele grew up on Long Island, and she was the runner-up on the Today Show’s kids edition of “The Voice.” She got her start singing and acting in musicals and commercials. After she took a break from acting, Steeled focused more on songwriting, in an effort to express herself through music. She subsequently moved to Nashville to sharpen her love for music.

Most importantly, Steele incorporated her real-life experiences from her travels around the globe into her music, as she had spent time in both Kenya and Thailand, thus realizing that music has a universal message. Her debut EP is entitled Find Me, which was a musical journey of self-discovery.
