‘Pieces’ single
On the origin of “Pieces,” she shared, “I wanted to write an anthemic song that would inspire and motivate people when they’re feeling hopeless or stuck. We can all use a reminder to keep going after missteps and struggles.”
“I came to the studio wanting to write a song about how to move forward and navigate life after some kind of profound change,” she said.
She continued, “Whether it‘s moving on from a breakup or just having a tough time, “Pieces” is about collecting yourself, hyping yourself up, and moving forward. We all have a tendency to waste time dwelling on things we no longer have or can’t change.”
“This song is a positive anthem to encourage us to keep going and realize it is okay to keep moving forward. There are a lot of good things that are still to come,” she added.
Music and songwriting inspirations

“I wrote ”Cherry Blossoms’ reminiscing about those simpler times,” she acknowledged.

As an artist in the digital age, I have access to more tools than ever before to create and distribute music, and connect with fans all over the world.”
“At the same time, however, the music industry is still evolving with respect to streaming and how to appropriately compensate artists and writers. It will be interesting to see how things change moving forward,” she explained.
Future plans
Regarding her future plans, she shared, “More music and more shows. I have a new single that will be released on September 29, an EP out this fall, and an album set to be released next year.”
Desire to work with Lana Del Rey
She listed Lana Del Rey as her dream collaboration choice in music. “It would be an absolute dream to do a duet with Lana Del Rey. Her album ‘Born To Die’ is still one of my favorite records. I think she is an amazingly talented writer and vocalist,’ she said.
