Jennifer Lopez to host and perform at the 2025 American Music Awards

Global music superstar Jennifer Lopez will return to the American Music Awards (AMAs) as both host and performer. The ceremony will take place on Monday, May 26th in Las Vegas, which coincides with Memorial Day.

Global music superstar Jennifer Lopez will return to the American Music Awards (AMAs) as both host and performer. The ceremony will take place on Monday, May 26th in Las Vegas, which coincides with Memorial Day.

The AMAs is produced by Dick Clark Productions. The award show will be televised on the CBS Television Network, and is available to stream on Paramount+ in the United States.

This will mark Jennifer Lopez’ second time hosting this popular music awards ceremony, a role she first took on back in 2015, where she performed a memorable opening medley.

Lopez first teased her return to hosting on the top-rated “American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special” on CBS this past fall, which was named one of the most-watched entertainment specials of the year.

Lopez is no stranger to the AMAs stage, where she has delivered some of the most memorable performances in the award show’s history, having performed on the show more than 10 times.

Her forthcoming AMA performance will be a mix of “music, dance, and visual spectacle.”
