Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees chatted about being a part of “Criss Angel’s Magic with the Stars.” His episode airs on November 12 on The CW.

On being a part of “Magic With the Stars,” Timmons said, “It was a truly incredible experience! It was a bit nervewracking because you had to learn a lot about the tricks in such a short amount of time, remember to maintain your stage presence, and try to seem relaxed and natural while doing it.”

“I had an admiration and respect for Criss and what he does before, but after this, wow,” Timmons added.

Timmons had great words about working with master magician Criss Angel. “Every time I have been around Criss Angel, it has been an absolute pleasure,” Timmons said. “Criss is so professional, personal, down-to-earth, and I love that he’s so hands-on with every aspect of what he’s doing.”

He also complimented judges Loni Love and the legendary magician Lance Burton, both of which joined Angel on the judging panel. “It was an interesting and entertaining dynamic,” Timmons admitted. “Criss is Criss of course, Lance is the classic-style magician, and Loni Love adds such pizzazz and energy to the show.”

On his magic routines, Timmons foreshadowed, “You can expect some surprises obviously, but you’ll see some vulnerability with me trying to survive outside of my comfort zone.”

Timmons remarked about “Magic With the Stars,” “I hope folks leave the episode inspired. Even though I’ve been in the business of entertainment a long time and have seen almost everything and learned to adapt, there were times during the filming I didn’t think I’d be able to pull it off.”

“I held on to self-belief and was able to get through it. That should tell everyone that if they do the same, they can get through anything,” Timmons concluded.
