He performed at Bar 360 at the Resorts World Casino in Jamaica, New York, and his show was well-received, thus garnering a glowing review from Digital Journal.
Each day, Timmons is motivated by his loving family. “My family . Amanda is the best. My kids are also a big motivation. My oldest daughter graduated high school a year early. She is a track and field athlete and a good scholar as well,” he said. “I’m trying to be creative to balance the family thing and the rock-star thing. It’s about finding that fine line.”
For Timmons, Father’s Day means everything to him. “The show at the casino is great. It’s nice to have fans and security, and people booking me, but Father’s Day is everything. I am not going to be home for that, but I’ll be face-timing and Skyping and it will be all day long. I am lucky to be able to find a balance with both,” Timmons elaborated.
The pop heartthrob defined the word success as “smiles.” “Being able to see smiles, and to visualize a dream and to carry that out over a course of a long time. Success is seeing the smiles of my family, the smiles of a journalist, the smiles of a long-time fan, and the process of that, is the gratification I get from it. That’s what makes me happy,” he concluded.
This summer, Timmons and his band, 98 Degrees, will be headlining the My2K summer tour. They will be joined by such musical acts as O-Town, Dream and Ryan Cabrera.
