International performer Yung Beau chatted about touring the USA, and finding his own “Popstar” voice in performing.

Nelson Mandela once said: “Remember to celebrate milestones as you prepare for the road ahead.” This quote applies to Australian performer Yung Beau, 25, who recently toured the USA.

Beau on touring the USA and performing in New Jersey

Most recently, Yung Beau performed at the Carteret Performing Arts and Events Center in New Jersey, as part of Magic Men Australia. He was joined by fellow Australian performers Will Parfitt, Ceaser Smith, Nic Murray, Ossie McLean, and Carlos Jay.

On performing in Carteret, New Jersey, Beau said, “It feels awesome, actually. It was an awesome night. I can’t believe the tour came to an end now, basically. It went so quickly. Honestly, it makes me want to stay more; it gives me a type of feeling that I can’t really describe.”

“While I was sad to not be a part of the Canadian tour, there is always next year. I’ve got to see some cool places this year,” he added.

Yung Beau on Davey Hughes

He praised Davey Hughes for being like a “father figure” to him and praised him for holding down the shows in Sydney. “David is doing great; he is a living legend,” Beau said.

Beau on his new look

Beau opened up about his new look. “I used to be the Justin Bieber equivalent, but now I’m the ‘Popstar’ of the group with my own look, especially with the longer hair,” he acknowledged.

“I’m Popstar Yung Beau… that’s my persona and my brand that I’ve established at this point,” he added.

Stage of his life

On the title of the current chapter of his life, he said, “Coming of age.” “I know I’m 25 and I am on my journey right now,” he said.

“I’ve been a performer since I was 19. There has been a lot of progress and development into getting into this phase, which is the real coming of age of my life right now,” he explained.

“I am on my journey, I’ve got a goal, and I am looking to achieve it,” he added.

Superpower of choice

If he were to have any superpower, it would be to have “peak intelligence.” “I would love to be like Professor X, who just knows everything,” he said.

“I am obsessed with learning and gaining as much knowledge as I can,” he admitted. “I would like to surprise people with my knowledge. That’s my goal… to someday get peak intelligence.”

Morgan Wallen

A very proud moment for Yung Beau was seeing country superstar Morgan Wallen perform live in concert the West Coast along with fellow performer Ceaser Smith, who is a huge Morgan Wallen fan in his own right.

“That show was absolutely incredible,” Beau said. “I love his music and stage presence. Morgan Wallen is just fantastic!”

Success

Regarding his definition of the word success, Beau said, “Having complete liberty and not having a boss. Basically, having the freedom to go anywhere you want around the world. Having people that you love and people that love you back just as much and would do anything for you.”

“Success is peace of mind,” he expressed. “Also, money but again, it gives you freedom and it helps you benefit the world further, and to spread my message of positivity further.”

“Also, having your family in a very good spot as well, and having people that you love more than yourself,” he said. “That’s when you’ve achieved something in life… when you have someone who you love more than yourself.”

“I think that is what life is all about. When you have that feeling, as much as it is a dangerous feeling, it is quite something, so that’s success to me,” he elaborated.

Message for his fans and supporters

For his fans, Beau expressed, “Thank you so much for your support. Every single one of you means the world to me, and I love meeting all the fans before and after the shows.”
