Interview: Todd Carey discusses his brand new single ‘Ready’ (Includes interview)

Regarding his new single, “Ready,” Carey said, “It drops tomorrow. It is the third single from my forthcoming studio album. So far, ‘Ready’ has had an incredible response from fans. I have been playing it live for two years. People have been requesting it now for two years. I am really proud of this song. It is the best singing I’ve ever done on record. The album should be coming out later this summer.”

Carey had nothing but the kindest words for the band O-Town, for which he had the privilege of opening for them a few years back at The Paramount in Huntington on Long Island. “That was a fun show. All four members of O-Town are awesome and we have become close. They have been really supportive to me for the past couple of years,” he said.

Most recently, his breakthrough single “Nintendo” went platinum, after it earned over one million plays on Spotify. “That was crazy,” he admitted.

His plans for the future including doing more live concerts, festivals and private shows. “I will be putting more music out,” he foreshadowed.
