Interview: The Janes discuss new summer single ‘Can’t Let Go’ (Includes interview)

Their new song “Can’t Let Go” is one of their favorites. “We wanted this fun, summer beach song that everybody could dance to and have a good time to. We filmed an amazing video for it, which is out on VEVO. Everybody has been loving it so far and we have been getting some great feedback. It has a cool vibe. We wanted all age groups to dance to and have fun,” she said. “It is really cool to see the music that we create bringing people together, which is what we need right now. It’s kind of amazing.”

On their plans for the future, Kelly said, “We want to be a group that performs in every country in every city across the world. We have big hopes for this group, so we are trying really hard.”

Kelly listed global music star Drake as her dream male duet choice. “We all have different inspirations, but I would say Drake. He is so hot, and everywhere right now,” she said.

The girls love staying connected with their fans, since they are living a lifestyle, and they want their fans to be a part of their life. “Our fans are called ‘The Janes’ and we wanted them to be on the same level as us. We are connecting on Instagram and on Twitter, and we love video-chatting with them. We want them a part of this journey with us,” she said.
