Sean Wepener, reality TV star, touring performer, athlete, dancer, and influencer, chatted about his latest endeavors, which include fatherhood and touring the world.
Jimmy Dean once said: “I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.” A person who strives for this quote is Australian-based entertainer Sean Wepener, who is now a father to a baby one-year-old girl.
A former rugby player, Wepener presently lives in Brisbane, Australia. Wepener played rugby for over a decade and he made it all the way to the semi-professional stage.
This sport taught him many valuable lessons about lifting, moving, and caring after himself (especially to avoid injuries).
Plans for 2026
Regarding his plans for 2026, Wepener shared, “I had extended family come and stay with us from South Africa, so it has been a quiet start of 2026.”
“Other than that, we are more than halfway done with January right now. The tours and the shows are picking up. Overall, it is an exciting start to 2026. There is a lot on the cards,” he elaborated.
Wepener on whether or not he will go on any new reality TV shows
When asked if he will go on any new reality shows, Wepener responded, “There are none in the pipeline. I have taken a little bit on a break from them, but I am back on the cards. If any opportunities show up, I wouldn’t say ‘no’ to them.”
“I would love to do a different reality show in the future, such as a ‘Survivor’ one day. That would be cool. I enjoy being in front of camera because it allows me to just truly be myself,” he added.
Wepener recalls his 2025 USA Tour
This past fall and winter, Wepener embarked on his first USA Tour. “That was a long eight-week tour. It was amazing,” he admitted. “The killer was the travel…we love the travel and we hate the travel at the same time. It involved a lot of driving. There were some days where we did nine-hour or ten-hour drives.”
“We started in California on the West Coast and we drove all the way through to New Jersey, New York, and Buffalo,” he said.
“We basically drove across the whole country. There were some long drives, but the fans were incredible, and New York was fantastic. I also loved Nashville and New Orleans too… they were amazing! There were some great cities along the way,” he elaborated.
Wepener on spreading the message of mental health awareness
For this year, the most important message for the live shows was mental health awareness, especially since “we are all in this together.” “There is nobody doing this on their own,” he said.
Future goals for 2026 and beyond
On his future goals for 2026 and beyond, Wepener remarked, “I would love to continue doing what I’m doing. I have a lot of flexibility and a lot of happiness doing what I’m doing.”
“I love the traveling, even though it is honestly insane. Sometimes, it kills me but I love it at the same time. I’ve never seen the world as much as I have the last five years,” he admitted.
“So, I would love to continue performing and touring in the future,” he noted. “I would love to have the flexibility to go wherever I want.”
Travel the world with his baby girl
Wepener hopes to travel the globe with his baby girl. “Honestly, I would love to take my little girl with me when I travel sometimes… especially to give me the ability to see the world with me. That would be the dream, and absolutely amazing, to be honest,” he elaborated.
“I want to give my daughter the life that she deserves,” he added.
Greatest lesson that touring the world has taught him
On the greatest lesson that touring the globe has taught him, Wepener stated, “Humility” and to “expect the unexpected.”
“Humility, for sure, and know that anything and everything can go wrong, so be prepared for that,” he said.
“It is the ability to be humble and flexible with everything that is going on. Nobody likes something rigid, where if you break it, it turns into one thousand worries; you just go with the flow,” he explained.
Touring the globe with Will Parfitt
Wepener had great words touring the globe with Will Parfitt, who is an influencer and Channing Tatum’s doppelganger.
“Touring the globe with Will is unbelievable,” Wepener said. “The number of fans he has and the amount of hype he has… I’ve recorded most of his viral moments on Instagram. It is so much fun”
“Will is an amazing guy. He is a humble guy, and he always looks out for the crew. Will is a leader that we all look up to, and he deserves all the praise and the successes that he is getting. Will is a fantastic guy and a really good man,” Wepener elaborated.
“Will has worked hard and he has earned everything he has accomplished. I feel like Will’s success is slowly rubbing off on me,” Wepener said with a sweet laugh. “I am climbing up the ladder slowly.”
Stage of his life
On the title of the current chapter of his life, Wepener revealed, “Reborn with Purpose.” “I am climbing back up now as I am reborn with purpose,” he admitted.
Superpower of choice
If he were to have any superpower, it would be “Controlling and extending time.”
“If I am enjoying a moment, I would love to extend that moment,” he said. ‘I would love to control and extend time.”
Success
Regarding his definition of the word success, Wepener said, “It’s no longer about me anymore. Success means providing enough support, financials, happiness, and stability to my little girl, which is cool.”
“Success is ensuring that I have enough of everything to keep my daughter happy, and looked after, and fulfilled,” he added.
Message for his fans
For his fans and supporters, Wepener expressed, “I would be nowhere without the fans. I’ve had fans since the start of my journey five years ago. Without the fans, I would not be here, so I have biggest amount of respect and gratitude for them.
“There is a lot to come in 2026,” he hinted. “I am rebuilding, like I mentioned before. This year, I am putting out more meaningful content than ever before.”
“I want to strive in different areas that resonate with being a role model for young adult males and a lot of other people,” he noted.
“I want to make 2026 the best year possible, especially in leadership and role model department,” he concluded.
