Interview: Ryan Cabrera talks My2k summer tour with 98 Degrees (Includes interview)

Regarding the My2k tour, Cabrera said, “Summertime is coming up. It’s going to be fun. I’m going out with 98 Degrees and we are going to be playing some of the old hits and some songs from my new side project as well. I’m going out acoustic, and I want to keep it super intimate, but acoustic will be different and kind of cool. Everybody on the tour is so friendly, and we all get along really well. It’s going to be a good time.”

His song “House on Fire” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Dance charts. “That was cool,” he said. “I was actually in Florida last week at the pool and they were playing the remix of that song, so we were blasting it up. It was cool.”

On August 11, Cabrera will be performing at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Long Island as part of the My2k tour, and on August 17, he will be playing the Coney Island Amphitheater in Brooklyn, New York. “I am most excited about these shows. We were talking about Coney Island yesterday, since it will be a first for us. I am stoked about the Coney Island Amphitheater show,” he said.
