On his magic tour, Raven said, “In June, I started my first solo tour and that was amazing. That was me for two hours, and we did about 30 dates all over the United Kingdom.”
The British magician is still actively involved in his charity work, especially with children in hospitals. “If you can make someone smile by giving them an hour of your time, it is really, really worth it. It’s really lovely to put a smile on the kids’ faces,” he said, effusively.
One of the magic tricks that is dearest to his heart involves the one where he is ripping up a newspaper, and then, “magically” putting it back together. “I’ve done this trick for a long time,” he said. “I love that trick.”
Raven has a set of four different kits within his range. These kits include “Magic of the Mind,” “Street Magic,” “Card Magic” and “Sleight of Hand.” “A lady got in touch with me and they asked me to do these kits, and the company was totally up for it, and now I have four kits,” he said.
His magic work has garnered favorable remarks from such acclaimed personalities as Britain’s Got Talent critical judge Simon Cowell, Ian Wright and Sir Richard Branson. “I now actually believe in Magic,” exclaimed Simon Cowell, during Raven’s tenure on Britain’s Got Talent, where he was the runner-up winner of the ninth season of the show. Ian Wright praised him as well. “Mr. Raven, I am in awe of your greatness,” Wright said.
