Interview: Erik-Michael Estrada from O-Town talks My2k tour (Includes interview)

Regarding their My2k summer tour, Estrada said, “There is a lot of solidarity right now with all the bands. We realize that there is such a small fraternity of us, and we just try to support each other on all of our ventures.”

On August 11, O-Town will be playing at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury in Westbury. “We will be back on Long Island. I love it out there. The people there are so supportive. Last time we were there we performed at The Paramount in Huntington,” he said.

He also praised the Coney Island Amphitheater in Brooklyn, where they will be playing on August 17. “That’s going to be a good show. I love Coney Island. I’m a native New Yorker., so to be a part of a New Yorker’s summertime agenda is super cool to me,” Estrada said. “I’m just glad to be going back to Coney Island, where I will get a Nathan’s hot dog.”

On their plans for the future, Estrada said, “We are doing some new videos for some new songs, so fans can look out for that. We have new videos coming, and they will be exciting. The new show we are putting together is really energetic and exciting. We are not going to lose any of the classic songs, but we are going to ramp up the energy.”

Estrada revealed that the fans can expect to hear such tunes as “All or Nothing,” “Liquid Dreams,” “These Are The Days” and “We Fit Together” on their My2k tour.

“It’s going to be a good time this summer,” he concluded . “I hope everybody can get the chance to come out and see the shows, and I hope everyone enjoys it, and tells their friends.”
