Regarding the Rocktopia tour, she said, “The tour has been really, really great. We are in our final week and we are a little sad that it’s over for now.”
She praised fellow band-mate Tony Bruno for being “amazing” and “such a rock-star.” On her plans for the future, Lowery said, “To continue to work with Rocktopia in August and the fall, and see where that goes.”
Lowery shared that she is working on my debut solo album, but she does not have a set release date yet. “The plan is to release it in 2017,” she said.
Each day, she is motivated by music. “I love to sing and it’s my reason for getting up in the day,” she said. Lowery listed Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Robert Plant, the late Jeff Buckley and Elvis Presley, as her dream male duet partners in music. “There are so many great artists out there,” she admitted.
In addition, Lowery was a featured vocalist and songwriter on Yanni’s 2016 release Sensuous Chill. “I did a project with Yanni back in 2009, where I wrote lyrics on a few of those songs, and then, I’ve written for him for his last couple of albums,” she said. “Yanni is a great man.”
