Interview: Ben Hazlewood talks about his new single ‘Wanted’ (Includes interview)

Regarding the concept for his new music video “Wanted,” he said, “I wanted to express the anger and frustration through strong aggressive visuals. I didn’t want to tell a story I wanted to evoke an emotion from the viewer.”

For Hazlewood, NY and London Fashion Week were an “amazing experience.” “Walking the runway at NY Fashion week for Malan Breton and shooting with Nigel Barker have to be two of the highlights. The shows were extremely inspiring, it was great to see the cross over between music and fashion,” he said.

He continued, “Working with Nigel was awesome. He is such a talent and creative guy and was extremely down to earth. Really looking forward to sharing all of the incredible shots form the shoot.”

Hazlewood’s plans for 2016 include touring a great deal in the United States. “I’m very excited about looking forward to announcing that and finishing and releasing my album,” he said.

He is also excited about his new record. “I am super pumped about this album. It really has a great sound to it and I feel it my strongest work to date. The release later this year will be followed with me hitting the road with my incredible band.”

Hazlewood loves animals and he has two Alaskan Klee Kai, which are a Miniature sized husky. “Hugo and Winter. I miss them a lot when I’m traveling,” he said.
