On May 5, Imagine Dragons released their music video for their spitfire song “Cutthroat.” Digital Journal has the scoop.

Their song “Cutthroat” was released on March 12 via KIDinaKORNER/Interscope. It is a propulsive, punk-leaning anthem about killing the critic inside of you, which lead singer Dan Reynolds has dubbed as an “exorcism of self-pity.” Imagine Dragons recorded the song with producer Rick Rubin at his Shangri-La studio in Malibu.

The song’s music video may be seen below and it stars Olivia Munn. It was directed by Matt Eastin and it also features actor Adrian Martinez. Munn is at the DMV where she in a constantly increasing state of agitation. It is a parallel accompaniment to the tune’s thunderous and frenetic sonic build.

“Cutthroat” is available on digital service providers by clicking here. It garners two thumbs up. Well done.
