Hollywood stardom awaits Manny Pacquiao

Pacquiao and Mayweather have yet to finalize a deal to face each other in the ring on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada as previously announced by Mayweather.

Mayweather is traveling to Australia this week to meet his fans there and to do some promotional appearances in Melbourne, Sidney and other key cities. Presumably he will make a major announcement about the ongoing talks on the long-delayed fight.

“I’m so excited about coming to Australia on my first ever visit. I want to meet my fans, have some fun and enjoy your beautiful country. What a great way to start the New Year!” said Mayweather

Pacquiao’s lovely wife Jinkee said that her husband “has the right stuff for a shot at Hollywood.” “In God’s time he will be a Hollywood star. He has that charisma,” she added.

“Manny,” the documentary film about Pacquiao’s rags-to-riches story is currently being shown in theaters in the US. The film is directed by Ryan Moore and narrated by Liam Neeson.

“Manny has a charisma and presence on screen which would make a him a huge star,”said Moore, a talented young Filipino-American firm director.

While in the US to grace the premier of his documentary firm “Manny,” Pacquiao made made a side trip to London Wednesday to honor an invitation from Prince Harry and hopes to meet the Queen at the Buckingham Palace.

Later in the week he flew back to the US to act as one of the judges in the Miss Universe Beauty Pageant which is being held in Florida today, January 25.
