Heffron Drive to release new single, embark on international tour

“Living Room” is a track on their forthcoming EP, which will be released in early 2017. It is the follow-up to their singles “Don’t Let Me Go” and “Rain Don’t Come.” This single coincides with their international tour, which kicks off in Mexico City on January 13.

Regarding their new single “Living Room,” Heffron Drive revealed that it deals with the ups and downs of relationship. Kendall Schmidt and Dustin Belt admitted that metaphorically, the song refers to the “living room” as the home in the relationship, where one strives to have a place of comfort and safety. Ironically enough, the deal for the song was derived in Schmidt’s living room. Schmidt and Belt discusses all the aspects of a relationship that take place in the living room, which include watching television, eating dinner, arguing, having conversations, drinking and dancing, among others. “We wanted to write a song that encapsulated all of those ideas and painted a visual for a listener. I think we were able to write exactly what we had imagined,” Schmidt said.

Aside from touring in Mexico City, Heffron Drive are expected to tour in such countries as Russia, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, France and Italy.
