Heffron Drive’s Kendall Schmidt receives Ischia Global Icon Award

Schmidt is the lead singer of Heffron Drive, and he was awarded the coveted Ischia Global Icon Award during the 2016 Ischia Global Film and Music Festival in Italy after their sold-out concert.

This award honors influential artists in the entertainment industry, and Schmidt was joined on stage by fellow recipients and Hollywood stars Tim Robins, Danny DeVito, Jeremy Irons and Danny Glover.

Aside from Schmidt, the duo is comprised of Dustin Belt on lead guitar and backing vocals. Their latest singe, “Don’t Let Me Go,” is their follow-up to “Rain Don’t Come.”

Most recently, on August 25, Heffron Drive played a show at the Revolution Bar and Music Hall in Amityville on Long Island, which was well-received.
