Actress Haley Lohrli chatted about the digital drama series “How to Dump a Hockey Star,” where she worked opposite Kyle “Kiki” Fragnoli, and being a part of the digital age.

Margaret Mead once said: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” This quote applies to Haley Lohrli.

What was it like doing the digital drama series “How to Dump a Hockey Star?”

It changed my life! The cast and the crew are so special to me and It felt incredible to play such a strong character who knew her worth.

What was it like working with actor Kyle “Kiki” Fragnoli as your leading man?

It was amazing! He’s extremely talented and lovely to be around, so It made even the longer shooting days feel really easy.

To feel supported in every scene by your co-star is all you could ever ask for as an actor.

What motivates you each day as an actress?

I want to make my family proud. I want to make myself proud. I want to make the fans proud.

I get inspired everyday by so many different fans and people and all I want to do is continue making art that makes me proud and gives people an escape

How does it feel to be an actress in the digital age?

I definitely never thought I’d be acting in this medium before but I’m forever grateful. It has its challenges of course though.

We live in a time where everything and everyone is accessible on our phones and It can be scary having that much reach.

As performers, we open ourselves up to the public eye and in turn we can receive a lot of judgement. It’s gotten easier to let It slide off my back though and listen only to those closer to me.

On the flip side, it’s an incredible thing to have so much reach.

What was it like working with actor Josh Murray?

Josh Murray is truly incredible! He is an amazing person, actor, and an awesome scene partner! He truly elevated what we made and I learned so much from him.

What is your advice for young and emerging actors?

You just have to go for It! Do it even if you are scared! You have to be passionate and you have to love It, but if you’re going for It you just have to jump right in!

What does the word success mean to you? (My favorite question)

Success, to me, means going home at the end of the day and feeling happy. Laying down and knowing I’ve done my best and I get to live a life I love. I’m so lucky to be where I am.

What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

Without you all, I wouldn’t be here and I’ll never quite wrap my mind around the fact that you all choose to watch and support me.

It’s the best feeling in the world. I get to live my dream because of all the fans, and I am forever grateful.
